Fire resistant cables OKL
For more than 10 years, legislation (No. 123-FZ “Technical Regulations on Fire Safety Requirements”) has mandated fire safety to be ensured not only by the cable itself resisting open flame, but by the entire structure together with its fastening elements — a fire-resistant cable line (FRCL).
The FRCL is designed to transmit electrical power, individual electrical impulses, or optical signals under fire conditions and must comply with the requirements of GOST R 53316-2009.
Scope of application — in fire safety systems in order to maintain operability under fire conditions for the period required to perform their functions and ensure the complete evacuation of people to a safe area.
Fire safety prevention systems that must remain operational during a fire:
- Fire alarm system.
- Fire warning and evacuation management system.
- Emergency lighting system along evacuation routes.
- Water and gas fire extinguishing control systems.
- Smoke protection and ventilation systems.
- Elevators for transporting fire brigade units.
- Internal fire-fighting water supply.
Our company has developed and conducted laboratory tests for integrated FRCL solutions with various cable support system options to meet any customer requirements. Based on the test results, the appropriate certificates were obtained.
