Construction:

Conductor — twisted copper pairs with cross-sections from 0.2 to 2.5 mm².

Insulation — fire-resistant silicone rubber.

Sheath — PVC compound with reduced fire hazard, low smoke and gas emission.

Shield — laminated aluminum foil with a drain wire made of tinned copper.

Color: orange for indoor installation, black for outdoor installation with UV protection.

Designation decoding:

KPS — fire alarm cable
ng — does not support combustion
(A) — category according to fire safety performance

E — shielded, provides protection against electromagnetic interference and false triggering

S — additional fire-resistant barrier in the form of mica tape

FR — Fire Resistant — flame-retardant, does not propagate combustion (FE 180)
HF — Halogen Free — does not emit halogens or corrosive gases during smoldering and combustion

Application area

Intended for group installation taking into account the combustible load in premises equipped with computer and microprocessor technology; in buildings and structures with a large number of occupants. Short-term contact with mineral oil and gasoline is permitted.
