Construction:
Conductor — twisted copper pairs with cross-sections from 0.2 to 2.5 mm².
Insulation — fire-resistant silicone rubber.
Sheath — PVC compound with reduced fire hazard, low smoke and gas emission. Color: orange for indoor installation, black for outdoor installation with UV protection.
Designation decoding:
KPS — fire alarm cable
ng — does not support combustion
(A) — category according to fire safety performance
S — additional fire-resistant barrier in the form of mica tape
FR — Fire Resistant — flame-retardant, does not propagate combustion (FE 180)
HF — Halogen Free — does not emit halogens or corrosive gases during smoldering and combustion
Application area
Intended for group installation considering the combustible load in premises equipped with computer and microprocessor equipment; in buildings and structures with a large number of occupants. Short-term contact with mineral oil and gasoline is permitted.
